Participation of RESOLVE Mediators in the 20th ICC Mediation Competition in Paris

From February 3 to 8, 2025, RESOLVE Mediators attended the 20th ICC Mediation Competition in Paris, one of the most prestigious international competitions. Once again, our team actively participated, representing RESOLVE Mediators in this unique experience of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

Eleni Plessa was selected for the eighth time as a Judge, evaluating three mediation sessions, including the Quarterfinals. As she mentioned, it is always impressive to see students from around the world develop their mediation skills and grow through the process. She also shared a remarkable moment when a participant told her, “The other team was incredible. I learned so much competing against them” – a reminder of the value of ethics in negotiation and the importance of continuous learning.

Angela Botrou participated for the fourth consecutive year as a Mediation Session Coordinator, overseeing four sessions, including the Quarterfinals. As she stated, what makes the ICC Mediation Competition so special is not only the high level of negotiation and mediation skills, but also the spirit of growth, exchange of ideas, and empowerment that defines it. It is always a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old and new friends, esteemed colleagues from different countries, and share knowledge and experiences.

At RESOLVE, mediation is a process so dynamic that beyond resolving disputes, it contributes to the development of participants and their relationships. We are grateful to be part of this inspiring community and look forward to returning in 2026!
