The Steps Of Mediation

The Steps Of
Mediation

The parties select and appoint a Mediator from our RESOLVE Mediators team and sign an Agreement to Mediate.
Upon a Joint session attended by the appointed Mediator, the parties’ Attorneys and the Parties involved in the dispute, the Mediator moderates the Parties’ discussions.
Private sessions with the Parties may take place either prior or after the Joint session and are performed in separate rooms for each Party. Private sessions are attended by either party, along with his/her appointed Attorney at Law and the Mediator who forwards the offers, counter-offers, thoughts of the other party.
The process is flexible and is always adapted to the Parties’ needs. For example, if required by existing conditions, the parties may participate in a joint session.
The aim is that the Parties reach an Agreement, which is drawn up by the Parties’ Attorneys at Law and the Mediator incorporates the Agreement into the Mediation Minutes.
