In some cases it is not possible for debtors (legal entities or individuals even if they do not have a commercial status) to settle their debts using the Extrajudicial Platform. The Bankruptcy procedure may offer them an opportunity.

After the integration of this procedure, if the conditions of the law are met, the debtors are given the possibility of a second chance to get back to the market and start from scratch.
